Shyla Basava Swamy, MD

Shylaja Nandi, MD is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Nandi earned her medical degree from M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in India. She completed her internship and residency through Summa Health System in Ohio. Dr. Nandi chose family medicine because it allows her to see the big picture for each patient and often for their spouses and older children as well. Dr. Nandi is most proud of the volunteer work she has performed for various service organizations, including the World Health Organization. In her spare time, Dr. Nandi cares for her two sons, helping them with their school work and extracurricular activities. In addition to English, she speaks Hindi, Kannada, and understands Spanish medical terms.
