Ali Asghar Houshyar, MD

Ali Houshyar, MD, practices internal medicine with more than 20 years of experience. Dr. Houshyar earned his medical degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He completed his internship and residency at Yale University School of Medicine in Connecticut. For the first 20 years of his medical career, Dr. Houshyar was an orthopedic surgeon. He switched to internal medicine to develop more long-term relationships with his patients. Dr. Houshyar encourages his patients to practice positive lifestyle habits though a healthy diet, exercise and socializing. In his spare time, he enjo ys exercising and spending time with his family. In addition to English, Dr. Houshyar speaks fluent Farsi and basic Turkish.
