Biography

Monica Lavian, DO, is board certified in neurology. Dr. Lavian earned her medical degree from Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in Pomona. She completed her internship and residency at UC Irvine. Dr. Lavian became a neurologist to help patients better understand their health conditions and how they relate to the nervous system. With that knowledge, she believes her patients can play a larger role in their recovery. Dr. Lavin's patients appreciate her sense of humor, which puts them at ease. They also appreciate her willingness to answer their questions in detail and address their concerns. In her spare time, Dr. Lavian enjoys traveling. In addition to English, she speaks basic Spanish and basic Farsi.
