What is NowClinic?
NowClinic is a secure service that lets you have an online virtual visit with your primary care doctor. Think of it as the modern way to have a traditional house call. Use virtual visits for:
- Routine follow-ups
- Medicine refills
- Review of tests/imaging results
- Help with ongoing medical problems
- Minor illnesses
Before you schedule a virtual visit, call your Optum Primary Care clinic. Ask if your appointment can be virtual. If it can, we’ll put you on the schedule and send you an email.

NowClinic information
Get instructions to learn how to log in to NowClinic and start your visit.
Call your Optum Primary Care doctor’s office to schedule the visit. If your visit can be virtual, we will put you on the schedule and send you an email.
To use it on your iPhone or Android smartphone, get the NowClinic mobile app from Apple Store or Google Play. Or enroll at nowclinic.com.
When you enroll, make sure to enter your name exactly as it appears on your health insurance ID card.
You will receive a reminder email 15 minutes before your visit. The email will include a link. The link will tell you to log in or, if needed, to enroll in NowClinic. Once you’re logged in (or enrolled), wait for your visit to begin.
Wi-Fi connections work best. You may have poor video quality with 3G and 4G connections.
