SARAH REIMER: It’s all just here and then they sign their delivery ticket and then they don’t have to worry about counting their supplies

They just have to be present and we take care of everything for them.

RACHEL: You talk to anybody with chronic illness that deals with having to come in for meds or anything like that, and they will tell you that the nurses

make our lives so much better.

HALEY VOICEOVER: It’s almost like you develop a relationship that’s almost family and you’re with them for so long and they’re the ones that are making you feel better. It’s like, I respect them so much. I genuinely think a nurse can change a patient’s whole view

HALEY: on their disease and their whole experience.

KATIE FRICKE VOICEVER: Kind of putting yourself in their shoes. Seeing how they would feel having to go through this

KATIE FRICKE: specific disease and just working with them through it and understanding that they’re going to have tough times.

RACHEL VOICEOVER: We laugh. They cry with me when I’m having a bad day, those kinds of things.
[RACHEL SPEAKING ON SCREEN]
RACHEL: And so that’s the element I think that helps make this easier.
[SARAH REIMER SPEAKING ON SCREEN]
SARAH REIMER: I think any time I get to take care of a person I’m a better person because of it. I learn something new every day.
[HALEY SPEAKING ON SCREEN]
HALEY: My advice to anyone coming to get infusions, especially here, is to not be scared or nervous. It’s really hard not to but at the end of the day, everyone here is so welcoming.
