Because she really cares. Also easy to talk to. I've been her patient for 5+ years. She's the only reason I go here.

Candace is a very intelligent P.A. I respect her for that. In addition, she is a nice person. However, she is in the midst of having, and raising a family, so her work schedule is compressed and there have been or will be prolonged family leave absences requiring her to train/orient a replacement P.A. As a patient (female, had 3 children but did not try to do demanding, complex jobs while having them) I find the family leaves, the cross-training, super-busy schedule when she is in the office, etc. less than satisfactory. If I was her Mom, I would advise her to take a time out--enjoy her children while they are very young and then return to work when both her children can be placed in daycare or are off to Kindergarten. Both Candace and her patients would benefit from this more realistic, relaxing model of work/life balance.
