Sometimes Dr Zonca is amazing, spending the time with you and not feeling rushed at all. Other times he seems very distracted. Example, I came in for my annual physical within a month of turning 50 and he never talked to me about shingles. We got distracted on another topic and completely missed some basic things I would have expected from that visit. I am aware everyone has bad days, but this was odd. He also misses something that went undiagnosed for 18 months because he didn’t hear me say I had been traveling outside of the US. Overall, I am satisfied with him and have seen him for years, but when he is distracted, he misses big things. 18 months.

He's flat-out amazing — he takes time to really listen. He asks great questions. I can tell he genuinely cares. I really trust him.

Dr. Zonca is always prepared and does a thorough job of reviewing all the medications and he explains things so that I can be successful. He looks the patient in the eye and explains what he is about to do and why. He is also respectful and stands up for patients.

I like Dr. Zonca very much, but my feeling is that he is limited by corporate control. I would recommend him to someone, but would say that the current business environment in which he works isn’t suitable to my needs.

He cares - we always chat a bit about family. He has helped me with some dermatological issues when I couldn't get in to see a dermatologist. His style is participative - explaining things so I know what he's doing and/or why he's doing it. No wonder Dr. Zonca continues to be a 5280 top doc.
