Dr. Stengel is exactly what I need for a primary care physician. He takes care of all the essential priorities I have. He is to the point and I am treated quickly and efficiently.

I've spent hundreds of dollars in Copays for tests I felt I should address regarding my health as an older patient. I received an MRI for back pain and a CAT scan to establish status of Pulmonary Embolisms I passed in my past. I also wanted to receive help with smoking cessation. This occurred on [omitted]. Tests were performed as expediently as I could schedule and results were available to Optum and Dr. Stengel through the MyChart portal. Its now almost February and I have received NO reply, comment, text message, email or any other means of communication. Now unfortunately, I am left to find a new PCP and I have medication refills that I have to protect in order to manage my bilateral endolymphatic hydrops or Menier's Disease that i contracted in the 1980's. In other words I am not taking prescription medications as prescribed because I have already experienced a severe withdrawal due to lack of support from Walgreens and Optum. Dr. Stengel displays an absence of eye contact or facial expressions, lack of bedside manner in treating a deaf patient, and a condescending attitude when confronted with any negative input. I will not be seeing Dr. Stengel again and I will be happy to inform the Emergency Room, if required, about my sub standard healthcare support. I'm currently sitting with test results, paid all copays, and have not heard one word from Optum or Dr. Stengle. I will not be returning to Optum other than to complete a transfer of records to a new healthcare provider. I'm easily reached via email, text or even telephone. Due to my lack of hearing for decades, voice communications can be difficult for me but I have technology to assist if needed. I'm not qualified to judge any physicians qualifications and Dr. Stengle may be a wonderful doctor to his other patients but he is definitely not a fit for me. I haven't had quality healthcare from Optum since Dr. Cronin left. I do not need to be contacted by you in regards to this and I really honestly doubt I will hear anything from you. I have informed my insurance company of all the details of my treatment with Optum and Dr. Stengle. What a shame.
